The Telecom industry in India is one of the fastest growing industries of the country. In the last few years, it has seen an exponential growth with the mobile subscriber base alone crossing 900 million. With Government of India targeting 100% tele-density by the year 2020, along with its flagship programs like the NOFN (connecting 2.5 lakhs gram panchayats through optical fibre cable) and the 100 Smart Cities Project, this sector can only see growth in the near future which will lead to a massive requirement for trained manpower to serve the industry.

But the challenges the industry faces is with the poor quality of manpower as the current education curriculum, fails to cover certain upcoming newer technologies which are currently under deployment as well as lacks the practical on field exposure. This results in a huge gap between the skill level of an engineering graduate and industry expectations. We help in bringing graduates on par with industry standards by facilitate knowledge transfer to students covering major aspects of the current Wireless Telecom Technology.

    The NCTP Industrial Training Program trains student in 2G-GSM, 3G-UMTS and 4G-LTE with specialization on RF(Radio Frequency) Engineering. The training is imparted through a mix of instructor led classroom Lectures as well as Onsite Field Sessions. Practical Exposure is given in areas such as 3G Drive Test & Log file Analysis and 3G BTS Installation & Commissioning.

    Candidates who have completed Graduation in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in the disciplines of ECE/CSE/IT/EIE/EEE or ETE.
